CHENNAI: On the occasion of Ajith Kumar’s birthday at midnight, the makers of his upcoming film, initially named AK62, officially disclosed the title as well as the poster. AK 62, directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Lyca Productions, has been renamed Vidaa Muyarchi, means “determination” in English. The poster also includes the tagline “Efforts Never Fail.”
Following Thunivu, which had the tagline “No Guts No Glory,” another Ajith film has been titled after the actor’s off-screen persona. Ajith is well-known for his dedication to his profession both in and out of the industry. He has recovered from a series of unforeseen lows in his acting career. Furthermore, he endured surgery after tragic accidents on race tracks and is still actively involved in biking in difficult terrains and shooting for his films without deviating from his call-sheet.
Those who have seen Ajith up close and personal know that he performs daredevil exploits on bikes and off it on sets without complaint, and that he takes small breaks by stretching before returning to film in a few minutes. The makers believed the title best suited the script.
Vidaa Muyarchi is scheduled to begin shooting this month. According to sources close to the film unit, the film would be shot in numerous places in India and abroad. The film’s cinematographer is Nirav Shah, while the music composer is Anirudh Ravichander.
