Defamation case is filed against Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge .A Sangrur court in Punjab summoned Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge in a defamation case filed by Hindu Suraksha Parishad founder Hitesh Bhardwaj against Kharge over the Congress manifesto in Karnataka promising a ban on Bajrang Dal and equating it to the Popular Front of India (PFI) as one of the organisations “spreading hatred amongst communities on grounds of caste or religion.”

According to the defamation action filed by the complainant, “the plaintiff entitled to get loss of reputation of his organisation which is spread at Sangrur Punjab India and abroad of Rs 1,00,00,00,000 and legal assistance charges of Rs 10,00,000.” The complainant has requested Rs 100 crore and 10 lakhs.

“The claim in the form of comparison of Bajrang Dal Hind with PTI and other Talibani organisations without a basis greatly harms and hinders the name and honour of the Bajrang Dal Hind and Hindu Suraksha Parishad members which exist in crores and also defames the followers of Lord Hanuman Ji,”
