Atmospheric Downward Circulation Formed in Bay of Bengal : Meteorological Center Information
Heavy rains have been lashing many districts in Tamil Nadu for the past few days. As for now, the Chennai Meteorological Center had announced that a new depression is likely to form today (May 6). It was reported that yellow alert has been issued for heavy rains in 18 districts today.
Currently, the India Meteorological Department has announced that a low atmospheric circulation has formed over the southeast Bay of Bengal. As a result, the Meteorological Department has predicted that a low pressure area will form on May 8 and will strengthen as a low pressure area on May 9.
