The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a heat wave warning for numerous areas of Tamil Nadu.The district collectors are making sure that all required safeguards are taken as a result of heat wave warning.
For a few more days, Tamil Nadu could see heat waves, according to the IMD.
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin had previously given collectors instructions to make sure that ORS was available in government hospitals and to take all necessary steps to improve medical care for individuals who were suffering from heat exhaustion.
The district collectors also make sure that all hospitals and health facilities in the state have ORS on hand and that first-aid kits are accessible for MNREGS employees.
In order to combat dehydration in the rising temperatures, the government has also recommended long-distance passengers to take the essential precautions, such as carrying bottled water while travelling.
