Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin will hold a meeting with all ministers and secretaries on the centenary of Karunanidhi on Friday.
The ruling party is going to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of late DMK leader and former Chief Minister Karunanidhi on June 3.
“The ruling DMK has planned to celebrate their late leader’s birthday for one year (i.e.) from June 2023 to June 2024. Guidance will be given to all the ministers and secretaries to carry forward all the welfare schemes implemented by the DMK in the past. Also, the ruling party is planning to bring back many welfare schemes implemented by late President M. Karunanidhi’s regime,” said a senior DMK leader.
However, the ‘Kalaingar Kottam’, which is awaiting inauguration at Thiruvarur Kattur, will be inaugurated by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on June 15.
‘Kalaingar Kottam’ is built by the Dayalu Ammal Trust along with a museum, marriage hall and other facilities.
