The School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh had already announced that all schools in Tamil Nadu will be opened on June 1, it was said that the opening of schools may be delayed due to the scorching summer heat. The minister said that a decision will be taken after consultation with the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
As, students and parents have been demanding that the opening of schools be delayed by a week or two due to the summer heat. Tamil Nadu Minister Anbil Mahesh has recently announced that schools in Tamil Nadu will be opened for students of classes 6 to 12 on June 1 as planned.
