Tamil Nadu had already announced that schools would open on June 1 for students from classes 6 to 12 after the summer vacation. Similarly, schools will open on June 5 for class 1 to 5 students. As the summer heat is still high across Tamil Nadu, many parties have requested to change the school dates.
Following this, Minister Anbil Mahesh had announced some time ago that schools in Tamil Nadu will open on June 7 after the summer vacation. Ramadoss, the founder of BAMA, welcomed the decision and said that the decision to open the schools on an alternate date was taken considering the welfare of the students. Also, he expressed his appreciation to the government and the minister for listening and implementing the comments related to the welfare of the students.
