For the past few days in Tamil Nadu, heavy rains have fallen in many places and the heat has cooled down. Today (May 9) due to the low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal, rainfall will continue in Tamil Nadu, and Tamil Nadu will not be affected much as this storm moves towards Myanmar.
Currently, due to this low pressure zone, 9 districts in Tamil Nadu including Tenkasi, Nellai, Theni, Coimbatore, Tirupur, are likely to receive rain for the next 3 hours today (May 9), according to the Chennai Meteorological Department. They also said that after this storm moves, Tamil Nadu will gradually experience more heat.
