This morning, rival gang members attacked Tillu Tajpuriya inside Delhi’s Tihar Jail, killing him.

According to officials, Tillu Tajpuriya, alias Sunil Mann, was beaten with iron rods in a high security prison by mobster Yogesh Tunda and his associates.
He was brought to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, where his death was pronounced, according to the police.
The attack also hurt Rohit, another prisoner. He is said to be safe at this time.

On the first floor of the prison, Yogesh Tunda, Deepak Teetar, Riyaj Khan, and Rajesh broke the iron grills of their ward. They used the same rods to hit Tillu, who had been housed on the ground floor with his other gang members, according to officials.

Tillu was the main conspirator in the gunfight at Rohini Court in 2021, in which gangster Jitender Gogi was killed,.

On September 24, 2021, two Tillu gang members posing as attorneys shot and killed Jitender Gogi inside the Rohini court. The cops then opened fire in retaliation, killing both of them.

Jitender Gogi was shot inside the court by two individuals who were dressed as lawyers. At that point, cops struck back and killed those two attackers.

The Tillu gang and Jitender Gogi’s gang had been at odds for years before the shooting.

The police claim that Tillu Tajpuriya gave the order to assassinate Jitender Gogi over the phone.

The murder of Tillu Tajpuriya is the subject of an investigation by the police.

In the past month, there have been two instances of gang conflict and violence in Tihar prison. Prince Tewatia, a trusted aide of criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, was assassinated by rival gang members in Tihar prison .
