For the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host a 26-km-long massive roadshow in Bengaluru on Saturday as part of his electoral campaign. Around 12:30 PM, the roadshow is scheduled to start, travelling from Someshwara Bhawan (RBI Ground) Kadu to Malleshwara Temple. The Prime Minister will next speak at two public gatherings, first one in Badami at 3 p.m.and next  in Haveri at 5 p.m. PM Modi is doing electrified campaigning in the state for the BJP, which is in power.

On Sunday in Bengaluru, he would do a roadshow similar to the one on Saturday but shorter, lasting around 6 kilometres from Kempegowda Statue in New Tippasandra to Trinity Circle in MG Road.

It was originally intended to be a 10-Km roadshow, but due to students entrance exam of NEET  the distance has been shortened for the May 7 roadshow. Notably, Karnataka will hold elections next week on May 10, and the votes will be counted on May 13.
