After an astounding victory in the recently held assembly elections, the Congress who won 135 seats in the 224 member Assembly election on 10th May is yet to announce their choice for Karnataka Chief Minister.
The party’s national leadership and an observer team will meet in Delhi today to discuss the matter. Both state party president DK Shivakumar and former chief minister Siddaramaiah have professed interest in the top position.
However ,the ruling BJP and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda’s Janata Dal (Secular) won 66 and 19, respectively.
