Last night, Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed a sizable roadshow in Kochi, Kerala, where he arrived for a two-day visit. The Prime Minister could be seen strolling down the street lined with cheering supporters while being surrounded by security persons.

PM Modi arrived at the naval air base yesterday after 5 o’clock. PM Modi was spotted waving to people on both sides of the 2-kilometer walk from the INS Garuda naval air station to the location of a youth conclave , wearing traditional Kerala attire.

Thousands of police officers were stationed throughout the vicinity to provide tight security and assure the Prime Minister’s safety. He was eventually led to a waiting SUV by his security personnel after over 15 minutes of walking.

Later, while speaking at “Yuvam 2023,” PM Modi mentioned the significant infrastructure improvements that the Central government has brought about in Kerala.

PM Modi asserted “While the past governments engaged in widespread corruption, the BJP government has created opportunity for young people across the entire spectrum by advocating vocal for local. We support local goods and provide young people with possibilities in armed forces and space. The country’s production and exports have increased”.

The BJP has actively focused Kerala over the past few months, not only by launching numerous infrastructure projects but also by courting the state’s Christian and Muslim populations, which have sway over a number of seats.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to meet with eight bishops from the state’s major Christian faiths later this evening. It would be his second meeting with the community in the last three weeks.

The gathering follows the BJP’s “Sneha Yatra” outreach initiative, which saw party representatives visiting households over Easter and Eid for both Christians and Muslims.

Later in the day he will lay the foundation of the first “Digital Science Park ” for the nation  The transdisciplinary cluster-based interactive-innovation zone for digital technologies would be the focus of the Rs. 1,500 crore project, and will be accomplished in two years.

Over the next two days PM Modi will be attending several programmes, including flagging off a Vande Bharat Express.
