The central government had already announced that it would provide 10 lakh jobs through the Rojgar Mela employment camp in India. So today (May 16) through a video conference,  Prime Minister Modi gave the appointment order to 71,000 people who have been selected in government departments. Later in this recruitment event, the Prime Minister will also interact with the job seekers.

Also, this program is going to be held in 45 places across the country and these 71,000 people selected today are Junior Accounts Clerk, Rail Keeper, Assistant Divisional Officer, Junior Clerk, Sub Divisional Officer, Tax Assistants, Assistant Enforcement Officers, Inspectors. He informed that the appointment orders have been issued for the posts of Nursing Officers, Assistant Security Officers, Fireman, Assistant Accounts Officers, Assistant Audit Officers.

Also, today Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman issued postal and railway job appointment orders to 247 people in Chennai.
