Shubman Gill, Gujarat Titans’ opening batsman, gave his team a strong start against SunRisers Hyderabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad by scoring the team’s first-ever century.
Gill reached 100 runs this time after twice being left stranded on the 90s. In addition to scoring the third-fastest fifty for the Titans en way to his century, Gill accomplished so in just 22 deliveries. The century was then completed by Gill in just 56 balls. Gill struck 13 boundaries and one six while scoring 101 runs off of 56 balls.
